We are fortunate at Rhyl High School to have Governors who are committed to taking forward the aims, objectives and priorities of the school to help every child achieve their full potential. Governors are volunteers who support the school, its pupils and staff. The Governing Body have an important role in helping the school to operate effectively.
They have three core functions:
Setting the strategic direction of the school by agreeing the aims, priorities and objectives with the Headteacher and Senior Leaders.
Holding the Headteacher and Senior Leaders to account for securing the best possible outcomes for all pupils.
To oversee the financial management of the school by ensuring that funding supports the school’s curriculum and development priorities.
