Wellbeing

At Rhyl High School, we prioritise the safety and wellbeing of all our pupils. Every pupil is unique and has their own challenges and experiences. At Rhyl High School we aim to develop resilience and independence to allow our pupils to take responsibility for their own wellbeing but also have a fantastic team of staff who offer additional support.

Progress & Wellbeing

Mrs Steel & The Wellbeing Team provide a Calm, and Supportive Environment that pupils can access for emotional support and a range of interventions. The support offered includes 1:1 support as well as a range of programmes and group interventions.

The provision is open every break and lunch for people that need quiet time or support during these periods. Pupils can make arrangements to speak to one of the staff or they can be referred for intervention via the Pastoral Team/Head of Year, with parental consent.
